The State Studies Fund invites students to submit applications for social scholarships until February 20 (inclusive). Students must submit their applications via the Fund’s website [Link] by logging into the Scholarship and Financial Support for Students Information System “PARAMA” (IS “PARAMA”) and electronically filling out the application form (Social Scholarship SS 2026 Spring Semester). Only by completing the application in this way can a student be eligible for a social scholarship.
A social scholarship, which amounts to €481 per month, is available to all higher education students who meet at least one of the following criteria:
1) come from low-income families or live alone and are entitled to or receive social assistance under the Law of the Republic of Lithuania on Monetary Social Assistance to Low-Income Residents;
2) have a working capacity of 45 percent or less, or a severe or moderate disability, as determined by law;
3) are not older than 25 years of age and have been placed under guardianship (care) in accordance with the procedure established by law until they reach the age of majority, or their parents (or sole parent) are deceased.
