On December 9, 2025, third-year students of the Faculty of Construction at Vilnius College had the opportunity to attend presentations by two companies: UAB Projektų rengimo biuras and UAB DAW Lietuva. The students were introduced to the companies’ activities, and internship opportunities and career prospects were discussed.
Representatives of UAB Projektų rengimo biuras familiarized the students with the projects implemented and currently being carried out by the company and presented examples of building structures and design drawings. The software used, the specifics of the work, the company’s strengths, and the challenges it faces were also presented. Company representatives actively invited students to do internships, emphasizing that due to the company’s specialization in designing all parts of buildings, interns can gain extremely valuable experience.
UAB “DAW Lietuva,” represented by technical manager Edvardas Labakojis, presented the well-known building materials manufacturer “Caparol.” The presentation focused on building facade problems and how to solve them using “Caparol” products. Students were introduced to appropriate facade installation methods and real-life examples of projects implemented in Lithuania, which helped them to better understand both the problems that arise and the possible solutions. During the presentation, students were involved in discussions and encouraged to share their insights.
The presentations provided students with valuable knowledge about design and facade installation solutions, real work processes, and challenges in the construction sector. One company invited students to do an internship, while another encouraged them to see themselves as future partners. Such company presentations promote students’ professional growth and help them to better understand their career options.
