The origins of the Faculty of Construction date back to 1954, when the Vilnius Construction Technical School was established by order of the Minister of Construction. On June 5, 1991, it was reorganized into the Vilnius Higher School of Construction, and in 2002, when the school became the Vilnius College of Construction and Design, the Faculty of Construction was established.
The faculty offers the following study programs:
During their studies, students not only gain knowledge and develop practical skills, but also become well-rounded, educated individuals and qualified specialists.
New study programs are being developed for future engineers.
The faculty employs qualified lecturers. They continuously improve their qualifications, participate in international projects and internships, and go on teaching visits to higher education institutions in other European countries under the Erasmus+ exchange program.
The faculty actively cooperates with various social partners, organises meetings, international student creative workshops, competitions, seminars and conferences. One of them, which has already become a tradition, is the practical student conference “Environmental Protection and Engineering” to celebrate Earth Day.
